Policing and Income

A data science project examining whether police officers conduct searches at different rates based on drivers’ perceived income levels, using car prices and service area income as proxies for wealth. Analyzes traffic stop data from San Diego and San Antonio to test for statistically significant correlations between perceived wealth and search/arrest rates.
